Description
A one page website has all the content within the same long-scrolling webpage. The main menu navigation takes you to the different sections of the single page. It is like a long digital manuscript. This is a single page website with no additional pages (Products, Services, About, etc). All the content sits within the same long-scrolling webpage.
Even it is one single page, there are some extra pages that are required for legal purposes: the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy pages. Other pages are needed for errors, like the 404 Page Not Found. Normally these pages are available in the footer menu.
The beauty of a one page website is that promotes one single thing in a direct manner. It allows the visitor to make quick decisions. The simplicity of this type of website is what attracts a lot of people. It is not overwhelming with multiple options that might confuse many visitors.
Usually one page websites encourage visitors to take an action. The one page website becomes the landing page with an objective: contact the owner, download a free digital product, sign up for a service, or join a newsletter. These successful actions are known as conversions.
